Imagine....

I talk a lot about taking time to imagine with God in the gram. There's something really powerful about entering into the state of imagination in partnership with God....it's when limits get taken off, and so much more. Over the last year, I have been journaling and imagining with God, and it's where I have found Him moving in ways bigger than I could ever think of. Honestly, it's helped me to take the limits off of who He is. And also to be aware of the limits I've believed about myself.

 For example, I imagined with God last year that we would be a family that travels. And in 2019, we traveled the most we've ever traveled before... and what makes it even more special is that every trip was fully paid for except for one.

I also imagined that the Firehouse Dream would be fully funded for our first year, and in Sept of 2019, we were.

I imagined computers, digital cameras, having a DTG printer and more being available in our space, and friend, today by husband picked up an Epson large format printer that was donated to us....where we will be able to print large sized prints for our future galleries right here in the comfort of the firehouse.

 Y'all this was something that wasn't on our radar for at least 5 years down the line. 

But today I'm reminded that we serve a  BIG GOD who moves in powerful ways. I'm reminded that I wrote this down, and imagined what felt far off and impossible, to it being a reality....and it did!

 So friend! I pray that you would imagine big and wild ideas, dreams and goals with God. 

 And when life feels hard, I cling onto Isaiah 43:19- "For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland."

Friend!!! I’m so excited to share episode 4 with you!!! Today we are talking all things about The Firehouse Dream. The process in purchasing the firehouse was one of the most hardest seasons for me, along with the uncertainty of the final outcome…..which now we know everything turns out okay, but during the 3 month process we had no idea what was going to happen. Through this season of waiting though, the Lord did some major healing and helped me to see that no matter what the outcome was, that He is still good, and that He will always love me! I hope you enjoy this episode, and are deeply encouraged by it. I pray that you would dream with God, and take small steps to making them a reality!!!

Matthew 10:10 (MSG) Don’t think you have to put on a fund-raising campaign before you start. You don’t need a lot of equipment. You are the equipment, and all you need to keep that going is three meals a day. Travel light.

Matthew: 10:42 (MSG) Accepting  someone’s help is as good as giving someone help. This is a large work  I’ve called you into, but don’t be overwhelmed by it. It’s best to start  small. Give a cool cup of water to someone who is thirsty, for  instance. The smallest act of giving or receiving makes you a true  apprentice. You won’t lose out on a thing.”

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE OTHER OFFER IS YOUR FRIEND?

Friends, remember when I shared there were other offers on the table when we bought the firehouse. Well, what happens when one of those offers is your friend?!? When the ideas you have for the space are the same?

HOW WE GOT THE FIREHOUSE

I'm so excited to share how we got the firehouse with you guys! It's a story full of pure craziness, but through it all, I'm able to see how God was with us since the beginning of the process. If you don't know what THE FIREHOUSE DREAM is, I highly recommend you read this blog post first!

 

HERE ARE 7 WAYS WE SAW GOD MOVE THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS:

1. The seller of the firehouse accepted our offer...even though we weren't the highest bid.

2. Our lender approved our loan even though the Firehouse was so unique. They have to hold the loan for the full 30years....which banks very rarely do that, if ever!

3. Our house sold for 1k over our asking price.

4. Our house appraised higher than our selling pricing.

5. Our house gained thousands of dollars in equity, only after living in it for a little more than a year, and that's with us doing no updates to it. It's what allowed us to have the money we needed to buy the Firehouse.

6. Since we sold our house over our asking price, we were able to buy beds for the girls, and a few other things.

7. God revealed so many lies that I believed about myself that He wants to bring freedom to!
