MUSIC VIDEO | DO IT AGAIN

jeremyandkenny.jpg

Hey Guys, it's Jeremy here! A few weekends ago I had the privilege of leading worship at The Crossing (the crossing.church) in St. Louis and it was such a great experience! Before I left for St. Louis I was connected to Kenny DeShields, a worship arts director at The Crossing, and after one phone conversation it felt like we had known each other for years. I felt an immediate spiritual connection and before ever actually even meeting Kenny I asked if he’d be down to worship together for my next cover video! Honestly, I had not ever even heard Kenny sing so it was definitely a risk, HAHAHA! Well, my intuition wasn’t wrong and this is one of my favorite videos.

We set up at this really cool graffiti wall right near the St. Louis arch and river bridge and worshipped as the sun began to set. Here’s our cover of one of our favorite songs “ Do It Again” by Elevation Worship. I’m so grateful for Kenny’s heart, his beautiful family, and excited to see all that God is doing in his life and at The Crossing. We hope you enjoy our cover and follow Kenny at (kenny deshields.com)

MUSIC VIDEO | THE KING HAS WON

LopezFamily-24.jpg

Hey guys, it's Jeremy, and I'm excited to share this new music video with you. I must admit it's been a bit of a crazy season for us the last couple of months with moving and getting settled. I’m also almost fully recovered from my terrifying car accident that happened back in May, and we’ve been busier than ever with our mobile photo booth business, but I’m ready to get back into sharing these songs with you regularly.

This song is near to my heart because it’s an original song! One of the most beautiful reflections in our faith is that of communion. We take the opportunity to pause and reflect on what really is the cornerstone of our faith; that Jesus gave his life so we could live in the freedom of mercy and grace. This song is a reminder that when Jesus made this sacrifice, all of heaven rejoiced because by the power of the Cross, now and forever, Christ the king had won. He won the battle against fear, sorrow, shame, and pain. I hope this serves as a reminder for you of that beautiful truth.

“When your blood poured out,
Lord it poured out mercy,
As your body broke,
You were breaking Chains”

MUSIC VIDEO | GREAT ARE YOU LORD

clickforhope_beautifulevent-101.jpg

Friends, I'm excited to share this new cover with you guys! It's a very special song to me. Why?!?

It was a song we sang together during our worship nights with Melissa.....if you don't know who she is, you can read about her here.

Jeremy and I met up with her and the family a few different nights for worship, where we would just sing God's promises together, and pray. This song became our mantra, our declaration, that it's His breath in us, and while we didn't know what the outcome would be, we together with our eyes closed, and our arms lifted high sang.....

"It's your breath, in our lungs, Great are you Lord...."

It's now been 4 months since Melissa passed away, and there's moments where it feels so surreal. Moments where all I want to do is go for coffee dates or tacos, with her. To share our dreams with each other. She had a lot of them by the way. She had this quiet bold determination of accomplishing those things that she set her mind too, and it was so inspiring!!!

She would also name these fears that I didn't understand...her worries about it coming back. About wanting to become a mom, but her body still being out of whack. We'd pray together!!! For anxiety to be replaced with peace.

But I sit in the reality that we can't do that together anymore. I sit in the reality where I see her family oh so broken. I sit in the reality that my friends are grieving, and I don't know what else to do but be. To be with them, to text them, to say, "Hey, I'm thinking of you."

So in the midst of loss and grief, I hold tight onto:

"You restore every heart that is broken, GREAT ARE YOU LORD."

MUSIC VIDEO | RECKLESS LOVE

I resonate so deeply with this song, and I had no idea how influential it would be over my healing process this past year. In May 2017, I started going to therapy to process through my childhood. This song became a cornerstone during my healing. I couldn't believe that in the midst of my pain, and the broken pieces of my story, God's love for me is so reckless that he would leave everyone and anyone for me. That he would light up all the dark areas of my past, he would tear down every lie I've believed, and that I AM STILL WANTED. I have wept over this song, as I have allowed it to become a song of truth, in turn allowing it to tear down the lies and mindsets that I've believed over myself for so long.

Music has a way of freeing us. There's such beauty, love and grace in it. I pray that this song blesses you! I hope that you would allow yourself to experience the overwhelming never ending reckless love of God!

Wishing you a very Happy Valentine's Day!

-Jasmine

I can’t express the joy I have in being able to share this video with you! When Dakota was a baby (about a year old) I noticed that as I would walk around the house humming she’d be able to match my notes in her cute little baby voice. As the proud new parent I was, I of course turned it into a fun party trick :)

As she grew older, I realized that she had a PASSION for singing. I mean, eyes closed, hands clenched kind of passion. We would spend so much time singing together over the years and at one point she even asked me to start giving her little vocal lessons.

What amazes me about her is that she has that little heart of worship and its grown into a full blown love for God and music.

Well, last week we went and saw The Greatest Showman together (her first time, my third), and I couldn’t stop looking over at her huge smile. She was so moved by the film and the music and so we decided to share our favorite song from the movie. There's a moment in the film where Barnum’s character hears his kids singing this song he once sung as a kid and it shoots him right back to that childlike wonder. I think that's what struck me the most about this song. It's a beautiful reminder of the wonder of a child that still lives in all of us. So I hope it inspires you as much as it inspired us!
